Wacaco Prestina Portable Coffee Press

The Wacaco Prestina Portable Coffee Press is a manual immersion brewer built around a patented idea: the cup itself is the press. There's no separate plunger, no piston - pressing the cup down into the brewer drives extraction directly, producing a full-bodied cup in around two minutes.

The Cup Is the Press

The mechanism behind the Prestina is genuinely clever. An integrated duck valve seals the chamber during immersion, holding the water against the grounds until you're ready to brew. Push the cup down and the valve opens progressively, releasing the brew evenly through the stainless steel mesh below. It's an elegant solution that removes a component most brewers take for granted and makes the whole process feel effortless.

One Unit, Ready to Go

Everything about the Prestina is designed to travel well. The brewer, cup and stirrer pack into a single unit at 254g and 134mm tall, with nothing loose rattling around in your bag. The 74mm opening keeps filling, stirring and rinsing quick and easy and a carrying pouch is included out of the box.

No Filters, No Waste

The Prestina brews through a permanent ultra-fine stainless steel mesh, so there's nothing to pack, run out of, or throw away after each brew. Coffee oils pass through freely, giving the cup more body and character in every brew. All materials are food-grade polypropylene, stainless steel and silicone and BPA-free throughout.
